On May 6th, 2016 Kristina was diagnosed with Acute Myleoid Leukemia (AML). And so began an incredible journey and testament of the strength and grace that anyone could ever hope to achieve.
On April 30th, 2017 Kristina passed away, ending her battle with AML. The Earth’s rotation paused for a moment that day – perhaps you felt it. She is deeply loved and will be missed by so many people.
Please honor Kristina by taking the time to read through her journal entries and learn what an incredible human she was. We have much to learn from her.
