Karly Brainerd had a horrible fall from her bike while mountain biking the Maple Hill mountain biking trail on Wednesday, September 16th. She sustained a severe traumatic brain injury and spent 14 days in the Pediatric ICU at Bronson Hospital with 7 of those days being in a coma.
Our journey has continued to Mary Free Bed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, of which Karly was transported there by ambulance on September 30th. Karly is receiving intensive physical, occupational, speech, and cognitive therapy.
