Welcome to the Karing for Keely page. This page will allow Tracy and David to provide updates in a time and manner that is most feasible for them while they focus their energy on Keely during this critical time. This page will also be a venue for friends to reach out to the Horch family to send them well wishes, so that when they have a chance, Tracy and David can soak up all the love and support they will need to get through the next few days, weeks and months to come.
Keely is recovering from craniotomy surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital this evening. The surgery was to relieve the swelling in her brain due to an infection. The next four days are a wait and see period while they monitor the swelling with hopes that it goes down with no further incidents. Keely did excellent during her surgery and the doctors were pleased with how everything went, that her heart was strong, and that she managed the anesthesia well. This is hopefully a sign to remind everyone how spunky and strong Keely is and that she will fight her way back and amaze us all.
Tracy and David appreciate all the love and support they have received already. They are a wonderful family and it’s obvious how much people want to give back to them for all they’ve done for others over the years. Please refer back to this page for updates and notifications of meal trains and ways to help with the boys, etc. For now, please keep them in your prayers, or send them your positive vibes, so they may stay strong for Keely, Liam and Henry.
