On March 21, 2017, Karen had a chest x-ray expecting to hear she had pneumonia. Instead, she was called back for a CT scan with contrast, which showed an 8.5 cm mass in her lungs. Several tests and operations later, it was confirmed to be lung cancer - a non-small cell carcinoma. We have set up this site to keep friends and family up to date on her journey. We look forward to sharing your prayers and positive thoughts with Karen as she undergoes treatment.
