Please inform the rest of the family as I do not have ability to contact. Your prayers would be welcomed. Karen fell in the supermarket parking lot on Saturday June 3, 2017 and was taken to hospital on Sunday June 5th. Her initial medical review was for high levels of pain in the right leg and upper body which had constrained all arm movement.
Two MRI’s , Ultra Sound, CT Scans, X-Rays and Blood Work reviled fractured Cyberia C4 and Thorax T4 &T5 vertebrae. Karen is complete immobilized via neck / chest brace / and right leg brace.
Due spinal bone weakness there was as suspicion of cancer. Supplementary tests determined cancer tumors through the abdomen. A biopsy was performed Friday June 9th to determine what type of cancer she has and the originating point (results next Tues –or- Wed).
When this information is attained, a course of action will hopefully take shape. Radiation is definitely in the future. Due to lack of arm mobility, Karen cannot use the phone, however if you would like to send her a card she is at:
