Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
After losing her husband, Dick, from cancer in April 2018, friends and family began to notice that Karen was showing signs of memory loss. As time went on, concerns increased as she began to forget conversations, events as well as basic things such as where she left her purse or how to do things that used to be second nature. After much encouragement, Karen agreed to see the doctor and it was determined she has a form of dementia. She is currently living in a senior living facility near her oldest daughter outside of Seattle.
