Welcome to my Pink Ribbon site provided by CaringBridge. I've created it to keep friends and family updated. I am truly blessed to have you all as friends and family. I am grateful for all your support and prayers you are giving me and my family. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this site and for your words of encouragement and support during this difficult journey. Those word will keep me going and staying strong. I know I can beat this with all your love and support!

I started this site back in 2012 when I was initially diagnosed with breast cancer.  I haven't written since 2014 when I was considered in remission and living life. Once I heard those words again my world stop! After sorting through emotions and doctors appointments, I decided to start back up to keep everyone updated, in the loop and help deal with my roller coaster emotions.

On November 6, 2015 my life came to halt again when I was told that I had metastatic breast cancer. The cancer had metastasized to my chest bone and spine which was very painful and gave me a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

AND THE BATTLE BEGINS AGAIN!

I am a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, an aunt, a friend, a neighbor, a professional, a coach and I have breast cancer. My whole life changed on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was shocked and confused and didn't want to believe it at first. After running the gamet of emotions,I truly believe this...I am strong, I am a fighter and I am going to beat this!

I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductual Carcinoma, the lump is 3.5 cm about the size of a walnut. I had a sentinel node biopsy, and 2 of the 5 nodes had cancer so they were removed and I was classifed as Stage 3. The game plan is to do aggressive chemo treatments and then decided on a lumpectomy or mastectomy at the end of my chemo treatments.

AND THE BATTLE BEGINS!
