They are sure to lift her spirits. And, of course, Karen, Alex and I covet your prayers. On September 26th of 2016, Karen's routine mammogram discovered a mass. A biopsy on October 4 revealed the mass to be Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. We have met with a surgical oncologist, a plastic surgeon, a general oncologist and others in the weeks since as we work out a treatment plan and learn more about Karen's condition.
