Karen Cole Gift of Breath

Since June of 2020 Karen has been a patient at Cleveland Clinic's, Pre-Transplant department due to advanced COPD.  After 2 years of rigorous quarterly testing and twice weekly Pulmonary Rehab, fighting hard to get and keep her body in a place where the health risk vs. benefit ratio for a successful transplant and an undisputed need for new lungs, the time has arrived! Karen has made it to the transplant list!.
 
For the last 25 years Karen has dedicated herself to helping others in our community at large. She has worked tirelessly with groups, individuals, most especially pregnant women and mothers, afflicted by poverty and addiction. It has been through the pursuing of this lifelong passion that Karen has touched countless lives and given so much to so many. It will take that same spirit of community to help give back.........The Gift of Breath!
 
Many a mountain has stood in Karen's way, during her 62 years. Yet, she has faced and overcome them by this solid Word "I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Tim 1:7.
