Kara Nguyen

Our sweet and feisty Kara was admitted to HEB Hospital Thursday evening, July 19. On Friday morning she was no longer talking, and by early afternoon she had slipped into a coma. Kara was careflighted to Methodist Dallas Medical Center for their advanced neurological facilities. She is currently in Neuro ICU and they are waiting for the results from the EEG and fluid they collected Friday night, as well as running other tests. They are anticipating the results to be in by Monday, at which time they will make decisions on future treatments.

Visiting hours are 24/7, however they prefer between 8am to 9pm. Only 2 people are allowed in Kara's room at a time during the day, after 9pm only 1 person is allowed. There is a huge family/friends waiting room where you can visit with her kids and family when they are present.
