Welcome to Kandi Albers' Caringbridge site. On Wednesday, August 30th, Kandi had a double mastectomy with reconstruction as a result of breast cancer. She had some complications and spent several days in the ICU but was released to come home on Tuesday, September 5th. Due to all of the love and support the we have gotten as a family, we don't have time to update each person individually. We will post on here frequently with daily news as to how she's feeling as well as results of tests or big news. As soon as we know results of anything, know they will be listed here as soon as possible!
