Our daughter Kamiah was born December 13,2011 arriving exactly a month early, weighing in at 6lbs and 3 ounces, for the most part Kamiah was a healthy baby besides simple common colds,Kamiah is a child who would walk in a room full of people and by the time she left that room everyone would know her name, not only that Kamiah is a adventures child , she loves riding her dirt bike and 4 wheeler, she also loves hunting and fishing and being with her family and friends . Around 3 months ago she started acting different we thought maybe she was tired from being in preschool all day , so we started making her go to bed alittle earlier, then her teacher started sending notes home about her falling asleep in class .Then Kamiah started coming home complaing about arm pain ,from their she started waking up in the middle of the night crying and we would take her back and forth to the ER and her family doctor and all we would get was she was a healthy normal child , So as parents we started looking around us question was it something at home we was missing. Then after thanksgiving she went back to school that Monday in which I took her and I explained to her teacher she had been complaining about not feeling well and if she complained anymore that day to give me a call, Around noon time I received a call from her school nurse expressing Kamiah was complaing she wasn't well and wanted to go home . So I picked her up before I pulled out the parking lot of the school I called her piedatric Doctor and got a appointment for the same day, We went in I expressed my concerns and told the doctors how many times I had been in the emergency room and how many times I been there is explained I didn't want to leave with out any answers and I also expressed to the doctor all the new changes going on at home cause I then thought maybe she was depressed for a reason he called another doctor in and I felt like I was finally heard, The doctor did blood work and did x-rays and told me he would call me the next day ,so after being in the doctors for 3 and a half hours we got sent home and he called with in a hour after getting home and explained to me that Kamiah would need to be brought back in the hospital for further test the next day, so we did and day 2 we was told our daughter had ALL Luekemia and now I journey is just beginning almost a month into our treatment
