Kal Wheeler

Kal has been in and out of the hospital for some time now for an infection that is in his foot due to diabetic ulcers. The last time he was admitted, last monday, was due to the infection entering his blood stream making him septic. He was then discharged to the Broen home on Wednesday afternoon. Then on friday night he was admitted back into the icu for pneumonia. He was stable and they were just keeping an eye on him. Then Sunday he pretty much quit breathing and was unable to breathe without a constant flow of oxygen. He was diagnosed with ARDS. We chose to intubate him yesterday, Monday, and so far he has not gotten any worse but unfortunately not any better either. So we are asking for prayers as his condition is critical and hopefully the good lord will bring him through this.
