The White family set up this CaringBridge site to keep family and friends up to date on Kahren's treatment. Doctors at UT Medical Center in Knoxville diagnosed Kahren with Stage IV abdominal cancer on January 25, 2021. As only Kahren can do, she immediately began to plan and prepare. Through a series of conversations and connections, she received a referral to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas where she began a series of diagnostic tests and appointments on February 8 followed by a consultation with her oncologist on February 9 where they will discuss a treatment plan. The Whites are incredibly thankful for all the love and support from friends and family. Please continue to check this site for updates on Kahren's treatment and how we may all help the Whites during this time. We will include and update a Meal Train link periodically.
