Kacie's life story took a sudden turn in September, when she learned she was diagnosed with rectal cancer. To such a young, strong, healthy person like Kacie this came as quite a shock as well as to all those who love Kacie so dearly. She has been amazed by all the love, support, and encouragement she has already received. Our motto is "no one fights alone". We are ready to battle with her through prayer, encouragement, and financial support. We welcome you to join her team who is ready to help her conquer this battle. The goal through this site is to keep you posted as Kacie fights this battle. She had surgery 6 weeks ago and begins chemo November 22. The plan is for Kacie to receive chemo and radiation over the next 6 months. Kacie is going to post on this site as well, so feel free to write words of encouragement. Be prepared to join us for our big celebration once this fight is over and she has WON!
