Almost 4 years ago, this journey began with what may have been a mini-stroke or a complex migraine. Whatever it may be, God blessed us with knowing of a hole in Justin's heart that was detected after an emergency room visit & several tests. An attempt to fix that hole took place in the fall of 2013 but unfortunately the closure device that was put in didn't fix it. Justin was recently referred to Mayo Clinic where the final suggestion was a surgery to remove the closure device & stitch up the hole for good. So many friends & family members have reached out with prayer & support throughout this journey - we are SO blessed! I felt the easiest way to keep you all posted on his surgery, that's taking place on Feb. 27, is to do a website like this. We are trusting in God & His care!
