Justin has always been the most loving, gentle, kind hearted and loyal person you will ever meet. He married the love of his life Krista on February 14, 2012, the first time in front of judge and witness, and June 14, 2013, with an official ceremony and celebration. Their beautiful son was born on November 28, 2016, Everett Payzant, the cutest little thing.
Justin joined the Army, his first love, in 2009. He was 18 and wanted to serve his country like his Grandpa, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Justin spent a year deployed to Afghanistan in 2011-2012 and has been on many humanitarian assignments during his career. Justin is 10 years reserve/active duty and holds the rank of Sergeant and is currently still enlisted in the Army. He is respected and loved by his Army brothers and sisters.
In early 2018 we noticed a change in Justin, as well as his employer, and he was laid off. He is not able to work or drive. Since that time he has seen several specialists, and referred to the Mayo Clinic.
The initial trip was made in Oct. 2018. At that time he was diagnosed with Frontal Temporal Dementia. With what appears to be a lifelong diagnosis, he will require regular visits to the Mayo Clinic.
We are looking for donations to help this young family with travel and lodging expenses, as well as insurance expenses as they present themselves. All money/donations go directly to this family.
A fundraiser/benefit is being held at the Eagles Lodge, 2420 South Ave W, Missoula, MT., on March 16th, 2019, from 3 to 7. There will be hamburgers for sale as well as a raffle and silent auction. Donations for the raffle and/or silent auction will also be accepted.
