Justin McGovern

On March 27th Justin was diagnosed with Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma after finding a bump, being smart, and getting it checked out. The next day at our first appointment with the medical oncologist we got a bit more info, it is stage IV. The cancer had spread from lymph to bone (a rib, and 2 vertebrate) and one of the vertebrae was cracked... the source of some back pain that we though was the cause of bad shoes and shitty office furniture.

Stage IV of hodge is still VERY curable... and that is what we are going to do support Justin as he undergoes several rounds of chemo and kicks cancer's ass. Because CANCER FUCKING SUCKS...

At this early stage Justin is still going through some tests and getting all set up to start Chemo. We don't know what to expect but we will need help. Either helping to feed us, help with cleaning/laundry, help getting Justin to appointments or helping getting Josephine to appointments. We don't know specifics yet, but expect we will in coming weeks.  We want to say thank you in advance to everyone that will help us out no matter how small, and together we will all get through this and come out better on the other side.
