Mom spent six days in Memorial Hospital In Hollywood FL (Broward County) in March with Anemia, low hemoglobin and other blood count irregularities. She needed several blood transfusions. It was finally determined that she had Waldenstroms’s Macroglobulinemia.

This is a very rare type of blood cancer.
Holly spent time with her in the hospital.

The severity and extreme contagiousness of the Covid-19 virus was just being acknowledged.
All three sisters Heather, Heidi and Holly wanted June to be in a safer environment. Because of advanced age (77) and her health issues (diabetes and cancer)  June would be extra vulnerable to infection and to socially isolate would need a direct support system that was not available to her in Florida.
Heather and Jeff live in Bella Vista Arkansas and Welcomed her into their home. Heather drove down to pick up June and Emily her cat. Both are now adjusting well to life in Arkansas.
