Hi everyone, this is Cindy, June's daughter. I wanted to start this site to keep everyone in the loop with all of mom's stuff.
Her current story started in late September. She woke up one morning and could't catch her breath. I took her to the ER. She was admitted with Pneumonia and a collapsed right lung.  After 11 days, a chest tube (that drained 1500 ml), IV antibiotics and a Bronchoscopy and other scans, she was discharged home.   Awaiting results of her biopsy and PET scan.  
10-16-18 Results are in......... She has Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma(non small-cell lung carcinoma). She has a tumor on her upper right lobe of her lung and a small tumor on the upper left.   Her PET scan showed no other signs of cancer in her body.
