Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and close friends updated in one place as Juliet has now left ICU and started home Hospice care as of 12/30/21. / Juliet has been through so many challenges over this past few years, six that I can list just off the top of my head. All of these difficult circumstances added layers of burden onto an already fragile spirit and soul. It is with much sadness that I tell you that Juliet's current condition is terminal and that she is dying from the long term effects of self-medicating her anxiety, trauma and depression, and from a broken spirit. Our hearts are so heavy but we are all staying strong for each other and for her. On Thanksgiving day she joined my family (Holly, her sister) and my mom for a lovely meal. She seemed grounded and solid, hopeful even. Over the following weeks her emotional and physical condition began to deteriorate exponentially. A deterioration of which many of us were unaware. / We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for walking alongside us on this journey with Juliet. It is our hope that our transparency and vulnerability may result in someone deciding to take the difficult step to get the help they need.
