I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in August  2016. Treatment involved 6 weeks of chemo and radiation, surgery, an ileostomy, follow-up  chemo, follow-up surgery. I finished up in July 2017. 

All was quiet until April 2021, when routine oncology bloodwork came back suspicious. After a CT scan, colonoscopy and bronchoscopy, it was confirmed the colorectal cancer had returned and metastasized to my right lung and surrounding lymph nodes. I started  chemo in June 2021 that continued through May 2022. After a "chemo holiday," I re-started a chemo clinical trial (IGM 8444) in September 2022. In March 2023, I am starting a new immunotherapy trial, XmAb 23104-01.
