Welcome to our Caring Bridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Thank you for visiting.

I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in August  2016. Treatment involved 6 weeks of chemo and radiation, surgery, an ileostomy, follow-up  chemo, follow-up surgery. I finished up in July 2017.

All was quiet until April 2021, when routine oncology bloodwork came back suspicious. After a CT scan, colonoscopy and bronchoscopy, it was confirmed the colorectal cancer had returned and metastasized to my right lung and surrounding lymph nodes. I started  chemo in June 2021 that continued through May 2022. After a "chemo holiday," I re-started a chemo clinical trial (IGM 8444) in September 2022. In March 2023, I tried a new immunotherapy trial, XmAb 23104-01. In June 2023, I started a monoclonal antibody panitumumab.

We're grateful to our family and friends for their help and support  during this time. We definitely feel loved and prayed for.  "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God." - Philippians 4:6
