Welcome to my CaringBridge website. When I was  diagnosed in August with colerectal cancer,  I was both shocked and heartbroken. 
Like most teachers, I spent much of my summer envisioning how to make this school year the best ever. I already miss the challenge of the job 
and the energy of the children. 

Now I have to get healthy so I can go back and show the kids that difficulties can be overcome with effort and a positive attitude. That’s my plan. 
I truly appreciate all the good wishes that are being sent my way. I plan to pay it forward in many ways once this is behind me.
