Welcome to Judy's CaringBridge website.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  We are still in the process of getting a final diagnosis.  Currently all we know is that Judy has been diagnosed with stage 2 invasive breast cancer.  Due to the cancer being aggressive she is expected to have 4 to 6 months of chemo followed by surgery.  After surgery there will be another 4 to 6 months of chemo.  Radiation is also an expected treatment, but we do not know when that will come.    We have been told that it is possible that the cancer is in the lymph nodes or in other places.  Next week Judy will be having a CAT scan, bone scan, and ultrasound.  If other tumors are found then there will be more biopsies and the  treatment plan may change.   The body of Christ has come along side us in an amazing way as we go through this process of tests and waiting.  On our own strength we would not have been able to cope, but because so many have lifted us up in prayer we hope to keep our eyes on our Savior and trust Him throughout the diagnostic procedures and the waiting.  So many people have offered to help us.  We are deeply touched and are so grateful.
