Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep everyone updated in one place. 
So last Saturday my mom, Judy, went to the hospital with fever and lethargy. After many tests it was determined she has cancer in multiple places. This was a shock to all of us. 
The good news is that the secondary infection that made her sick is being controlled with antibiotics so she's felt pretty good since then. She's eating and sleeping well in the hospital and being cheery and patient as only my mom can be. The bad news is, well, cancer that seems pretty advanced. The teams at LGH are very thorough so they've done tons of testing; however we won't have a prognosis or treatment options shared with us til at least next week. Ugh.
We're hoping that after today's test/procedure she can go home tomorrow (Friday) and follow up with the team after that. But timetables change constantly there so we won't know for sure til they say so.weeks. Update: she came home that Friday. Yay!
So what we, the family, and Judy need right now is mostly a ton of prayers. And also some space as we wait and process and wait some more. (This is particularly hard for me, Maria, and Brad because we came down with Covid last week so are barred from visiting in the hospital). 
Mom has her cellphone with her so feel free to text or call her. If she doesn't answer leave a message and she'll call you when she can. 
You can also leave messages here and we'll be sure we/she sees them. I'll try to update this as we know stuff to share. 
This site(Caring Bridge) is the best way to keep updated on moms condition  rather than texting or messaging us kids directly.
