Judy Cramer Judy's Journey

We are so thankful for the love and support we've received over the past few months and especially the last couple of days.

We'd like to backup: Our mom was diagnosed with mild Dementia last fall. Nothing overly noticeable and was very manageable at the time. Things changed drastically in May when her diagnosis changed from mild to moderate Dementia. We cared for our mom at home with 24/7 support. As her care needs increased, we moved our mom to a Memory Care facility in Plymouth. It was a very difficult decision, but her health, wellness and safety was and continues to be our top priority always.

She spent last weekend in the hospital running various tests looking for reasons as to what has been happening to her over the past few months. There have been many doctor visits over the course of the summer, but as symptoms seemed to worsen, there have not been many logical answers. We're hoping to learn more in the days to come and as we go along.

When we thought things couldn't get any harder, they did. Most recently, our mom suffered a massive stroke on Thursday, September 7. She then had approximately 20 seizures from late Thursday evening into Friday. Doctors have been able to adjust her meds to allow her to rest since Friday evening. She remains in the ICU at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.

We sincerely appreciate your concern, thoughts & prayers as we navigate through this journey together. Our mom is the most loved lady we know -- thank you for lifting her up, as well as us, during this difficult time! xo

Love Angie, Carri & Ashley
