Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Our Mom, Judy,  has been struggling with pain in her back and legs most of this year.   She has also been losing her appetite as well as her mobility and strength.  She was diagnosed two weeks ago with Multiple Myeloma.

An emergency room trip in early August uncovered that she had a fracture in her pelvic bone.  While home recovering from that and trying to gain her mobility, she fell at the end of September but did not appear to do additional bone damage.   They did do a bone scan around this time frame and discovered she had Osteoporosis.  In the middle of October, she fell yet again and was admitted to the hospital due to newly sustained pelvic fractures.  Many additional tests were done, and she was diagnosed with Mutliple Myeloma.
She was then transferred to a rehab hospital to try and improve her strength and mobility as well as manage her pain.  Due to the many areas in her bones that have been damaged by the cancer and continued declining strength and nutrition, we have decided to bring her home to be with family and to alleviate her pain as best as possible.

We are working to get her strong enough to come home and be with her family and friends.  Your kind words, cards, flowers and visits have meant the world to her and to us.  Thank you!

Teri, Jennifer, and Ray
