Judy is trying to keep it positive and feeling gratitude to be living in a time when this complex surgery can be performed! She has high hopes of the procedure fixing her severe leg pain and improving her standing and walking functions. The spinal fusion and laminectomy will mean many weeks of recovery. If she does well through the procedure she might be discharged the same or next day, but she won't know that until afterwards obviously. She may go to rehab following surgery but again won't know that yet. She won't be able to drive for 3-6 weeks depending on progress. Feel free to post her a message on this site!
