Judy Condra

First post: Feb 4, 2018 Latest post: Mar 19, 2018

Judy started experiencing some speech problems and after a trip to the ER and 24 hours of tests it was confirmed that she had a brain tumor.  The doctors were able to do surgery and remove most of the tumor and have since been able to complete pathology testing and confirm Glioblastoma brain cancer.  Unfortunately, our family has experience with this type of cancer because it is identical to the diagnosis that Ginger Condra had a few years ago.  (If you are not aware you can visit her Caring Bridge site and see the history)  https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/gingercondra

Judy will start treatments in a couple weeks after the surgical incision heels.  The treatments include an oral chemotherapy and radiation and the first round will last 6 weeks.  She is hoping to be complete by her birthday on April 23.

Judy is feeling fine, some mild speech impediments but she is home and able to talk on the phone, text, and have visitors.
