As all of you may know my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2020. Since then she has had multiple testing/scans and was discovered a tumor in each lung which means it has spread, now calling this type of cancer ,adenocarcinoma stage 4. Since diagnosed my mom has undergone multiple cycles of chemotherapy. October 2021, my mom decided to get second opinion in Rochester at Mayo Clinic. Again after several tests, scans at Mayo they felt removal of tumor in the colon would be beneficial and a positive choice in her treatment. Surgery is scheduled for December 7, she will have Rt colectomy laparoscopic with removal of The tumor and we are hopeful and positive about this direction in her journey.
