My Story
At the end of May  I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer--- Invasive Lobular Metastatic Carcinoma. The really bad kind.
On Monday the 19th, I'm having surgery, a double mastectomy and around 25+ lymph nodes removed.  I will be in the hospital 3-4 nights and in bed for 4 weeks.
So I won't be around town, but I'll be thinking about you.
I'm in my Warrior Mode.   New hairstyle, and some new tattoos. One is a brush painting of the symbol of "Hope" and the other is the word "Survivor" & a breast cancer ribbon.
I was told by my Doctor that I didn't need to get a mammogram every year any more. That after 65 you get it every 2 years.  DO NOT  Listen to this nonsense!!!  Demand a yearly mammogram, Ladies!!
IT'S YOUR LIFE !!! And it could very well depend on it!
If you would, please say a prayer and light a candle for me on the 19th. It looks like the road ahead is going to be tough and rough, hard and long--but so am I.
I really need all the love, faith and support I can get.  Thanks 🙏🏻 💞

This is my “warrior anthem”, my ‘fight song’ – it literally keeps me going throughout each day.
        “Rise”
“I won't just survive.
Oh, you will see me thrive.

Can't write my story.
I'm beyond the archetype.

I won't just conform.
No matter how you shake my core.

'Cause my roots, they run deep,
Oh, ye of so little faith--
Don't doubt it, don't doubt it.
Victory is in my veins.

I know it, I know it.
And I will not negotiate.
I'll fight it, I'll fight it.
I will transform.

When, when the fire's at my feet again.
And the vultures all start circling.

They're whispering, "You're out of time,"
But still I rise.

This is no mistake, no accident.
When you think the final nail is in--
Think again!

Don't be surprised--
I will still rise.

I must stay conscious.
Through the madness and chaos.

So I call on my angels,
They say, Oh, ye of so little faith,
Don't doubt it, don't doubt it.

Victory is in your veins!
You know it, you know it!
 And you will not negotiate.

Just fight it, just fight it.
 And be transformed!”
