Walter Mason My Hero’s journey

First post: Jun 1, 2022
On January 18,2022 my Husband Jr (Walter) went in for a procedure called an ERCP and was expecting to go home after procedure.   We were unaware of the possible complications from it when he returned to room he was in a fetal position and in tears begging for me to help him!!!   He had developed pancreatitis from procedure he was admitted and stayed in hospital for 7 days. We were released on a Thursday and my husband continued to vomit and hurt I called numerous times to the dr office informed them he could not even keep water down and I was just told it’s normal he takes time  went to Dr for follow up that following Monday still told us the same thing it’s normal well February 5, 2022 I took him to ER and we were told his pancreas was starting necrotizing and we were informed that he had a huge mass on left kidney measured 4.6 cm and told us it was cancerous!!!   I heard nothing else the dr said I could only cry my husband told Dr to give us some time and i hugged him and feel to pieces cause that was the last thing we were expecting to hear!!!!   Well he was transferred to a bigger hospital navicent in Macon ga and we spent 11 days in hospital!!!!!    His pancreas is healing but not without difficulty had a cyst drained off pancreas but Dr told us a few weeks ago it was no where as inflamed and was healing just slowly!  We have seen urologist at Emory in Atlanta and he told us both it was adenocarcinoma of the left kidney stage 3!   He is scheduled to have the entire left kidney removed on June 23 ,2022!!!  He has been out of work since Jan 18 and it’s just my income and it no where near what he brought home and it’s extremely hard!!!! Please pray for our family!!!  My husband is a 46 year old man in  good health before January 18 he lost so much weight but he is finally putting sone weight back on!!!!   I have tried to find some resources to help us maybe but I am just lost With this and I have worked in medical field for 16 years my mind doesn’t want to process this I guess!    Thanks guys and please send any information my way if you would!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
