Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. In 2010, three months before my wedding, I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. I had no pre symptoms. It was a rare fluke. I was working on the fire truck that evening. I know exactly the time and place of the call. Our driver, Bud, missed putting the emergency brake on while parking on an incline. Thinking it was stopped so we could get off an help someone, the fire truck jerked forward while he frantically jumped back in and set the brake. It was too late and three of us fell off the truck with gear in hand. I was sore when i got back to the station but went to bed. In the morning i had a hard time moving my right arm as it was bruised and i felt tingling sensation from my feet to my knees. The city thought maybe i pinched a nerve from the fall. They sent me to get an MRI. Suddenly i was told i have Multiple Sclerosis. And here I am.
