I started my cancer journey on July 11th when I heard the words you have cancer. I have chosen to remain positive so far but have to admit as I face the start of chemo I'm feeling more anxious. My attitude is I've got this I raised 3 kids on my own without the help or financial support of their father. I'm a strong independent woman as a result. However when this journey began I'm learning to accept the help of others, it's ok to lean on others for support what ever that may look like. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to see how I'm doing and have provided words of encouragement.
