On Saturday, September 29 Joy was headed to help our Mom. Typical Saturday for her usually would have had Gilbert her puppy love with her but she left him home and she’s glad she did because the wreck would have killed him. She had no time to stop when the car pulled out in front of her so they collided and it totaled Joy’s car. Thankfully her bags deployed and she had her seat belt on or she was told she would have lost her life. Also thankfully the other driver was not hurt. She had surgery on Monday and the surgeon was pleased with the surgery. So now she’s in a battle to heal and get back to the job she loved, taking care of Gilbert whom she adores, helping and serving others as she has always done. Visiting and caring for our sister Cindy Perkins, helping our mom, Joyce Brown. Thank you for your encouragement, your prayers and support of her and our family as we go through this journey, and as Cindy often says ... God continues to write our stories.
