In 2013, Jo was diagnosed with Fallopian Tube Cancer.  After a few months of aggressive treatment, there were no visible signs of fallopian tube cancer or new cancer growth.  In the fall of 2014, her CA125 levels came back elevated.  The cancer metastasized to her abdomen/stomach.  While oncologists attempted to provide chemo to slow the spread of the cancer, Jo's blood levels indicated that her body is not healthy enough to receive chemo.  The last chemo treatment she received was in the late summer of 2015 and her cancer has advanced rapidly.  While we are aware that her cancer is not curable, we are committed to doing whatever we can to slow it's progression.  Jo has always been committed to helping and being there for others, now it's our time to help her.
