As I begin this journey with breast cancer I have chosen to make it public in hopes that it will bring peace and comfort to someone else going through a difficult time and for the truly caring friends I have made over the years that genuinely want to help. In my absolute darkest hour on Aug 29, 2008 when we learned our only child had passed away and I was praying out to God and asking how I was going to get through tomorrow I was very peacefully reminded that my awesome God was with me and had always been with me - I just chose not to live the Christian live I knew I could have. I was reminded of footprints in the sand that I was being carried and not alone.
That is my message now that I am not alone because I believe God's will be done, not asking why or what if or when. I embrace this journey and pray you will find the same encouragement through your own journey, not if it comes but when it comes. God bless you and thank you for your support!!
