Sandi Hanahan Journey to Wellness

First post: 7/30/2017 Latest post: 7/30/2017

Welcome to my CaringBridge website. I am using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

I am not a writer, so please don't criticize my words, grammar or spelling. I'll do the best I can. Pease comment if you have anything good to share. I'm trying to be positive and if the biopsy turns out to be normal, I will change this to Sandi's Weight Story. I love you all and pray for good health for you and your family. That's all we have to keep us on this earth, but when the time comes, I'll be ready to see Jesus with open arms and ready to love those gone before me. Over dramatic?  Nah!

January 2014 - Diagnosis: Invasive Carcinoma Breast Cancer; Prognosis: Good, caught early. Lumpectomy with Radiation and anti estrogen medication, Arimidex.
Visits to the oncologist every 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, now 6 months at year 3.5.
Went for a routine mammogram. Received a  letter that they needed further evaluation. Had several more views taken on mammogram and Ultrasound.  Results recommended a Biopsy to determine what is highly suspicious of 6 nodules with irregular edges, new since last mammogram in 2016.

Will attach reports as I receive them online.
