Since age 16 I have had symptoms which seemed to be pointing to something related to the heart. After five years of intense medical care, however, the doctors did not find anything conclusive. Oh, I heard many big names and learned a lot about the human body, but nothing that concluded my case. About a month ago, I found some great relief in realizing that there are other people out there who are experiencing some very similar things to what I'm experiencing. I also got to hear my cardiologist say "I think you have POTS. I'm going to send you to Mayo Clinic to be diagnosed." While we didn't receive an official diagnosis, it looks very hopeful to be an autonomic dysfunction called POTS. Have fun researching that one! :) It is very interesting even if you are not a patient! It will give you a very good picture of my world. Thank you to all of you who have shown interest and support in my life. I cannot thank you all enough. And thank you in advance for the encouragement I am sure to receive while out at Mayo. Maybe this is the moment I have prayed for for so long!
