After fighting a cough for about a month and a half and being misdiagnosed with walking pneumonia, Josh was seen by a doctor who noticed swollen lymph nodes in his chest x-ray as well as a large mass in his chest. After being admitted to the hospital and having multiple tests done, Josh was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on 7/11/17. He was admitted to the hospital to begin chemo for 28 days and then will continue on to a bone marrow transplant (which his 4 siblings will be typed for, hoping for a perfect match!)
