Josh Sanborn #JoshSanbornStrong

First post: Jul 7, 2018
WHEN IT STARTED:
It started with just a common cold that did not seem to go away. Continuously exhausted, Josh made several trips to the doctors office before they finally ordered blood work. In June, Josh was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). It was a shock to his family and friends. Our humorous Josh, who works out regularly, loves to go fishing, and gives much of his time helping those struggling with addiction, was suddenly knocked down by cancer. Words can't explain how all of us are feeling right now. He is loved so much!

LIFE FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS:
Treatment quickly started two days after diagnosis. Due to his lengthy and aggressive treatment plan, Josh has to put college at NDSU on hold and will be unable to work. He has to limit contact with people and will not receive any work insurance benefits. Josh has volunteered to be part of a case study. He hopes his case will help advance treatments of future patients and ease their fears.
