Welcome to Josh’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

He is currently in critical condition at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, in the Trauma ICU.

Saturday, December 16th, Josh was leaving the Leilani Heights neighborhood in Jensen Beach on his motorcycle when a small animal ran out in front of him. As he swerved he slid and collided with the wooden guardrail. He broke the guardrail with his body, breaking all 8 ribs on his left side (some in front and back), his clavicle, and scapula, punctured his lung, and damaged his brachioplexus (the nerves which control arm function).

I will continue to update his status through this website to make sure everyone is informed and on the same page.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and love all around during this difficult time and holiday season.

*When Josh is alert I share messages with him. It always makes him smile.

Yours Truly,
Whitney (& the Rupard Clan)
