Joe Williams

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Joe Williams is the youngest child of Winton and Addie Jo Wiliams. He is married to Sujittra, and they have two sons. Cordell is eight years old, and Cody is six years old. Joe loves life and lives it to the fullest. He is a big guy and has a BIG personality. This site will be updated and managed by his sisters and is intended to keep you updated on his condition and progress. To begin, our lives changed dramatically on Wednesday of this week (August 9, 2017). Joe (Bubba) and his family were traveling back home from a vacation in Thailand, Sujittra's home country. During a layover in Canada, Bubba had a stroke. He was rushed to Mississauga Hospital in Ontario, Canada. The language barrier was a huge obstacle for Sujittra, so our older sister, Brenda, boarded an immediate flight to Canada to communicate with the doctors and make the medical decisions. During her stay, he had surgery to remove a very large blood clot. Although the surgery was a success, he is unable to talk and unable to move his right side.  Our immediate goal is to get him stable enough to transport back to the United States.
