We are creating this Caring Bridge site for Ken Bridges - our Dad, our grandfather, our friend, our rock and our hero. Dad has had more challenges in the past few months than anyone should have to endure. He was in rehab for a broken shoulder when our mom passed away August 27th. He worked very hard to get stronger after we lost Mom and was discharged to come home at the end of September. He had a wonderful week enjoying all the comforts of being home with friends and family, but unfortunately fell and broke his hip in early October. It was a bad break and the recovery would be extremely challenging. With all he has had to bear over the past few months, this latest injury is proving too difficult and Dad is continuing to decline. He has been referred to Talbot Hospice, an organization dear to our hearts which has been so caring and supportive of our family. Please say a prayer for Dad during this difficult time.
