Back in April of 2004, Joseph made his entrance into this world with a bicuspid aortic valve.  Doctors were able to temporarily fix the flow of blood through the valve but knew we would have to keep a close eye on it.  Joseph was blessed to have no restrictions on his activities for over 13 years! However,  the time has come to take action and repair the valve. Open heart surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
