Jordyn was born on January 19th, 2017.  Months before her scheduled date to arrive of April 22nd. 
Madie developed a condition called placental insuffency and pre eclampsia. Basically the blood flow to baby through the placenta was becoming significantly diminished which means baby was not able to receive the amount of oxygen and blood flow needed. Shortly after this diagnosis Madie developed the high blood pressures which were not able to be corrected by medications despite attempts. The doctors tried their best to monitor very closely and keep baby inside as long as possible but eventually it was too dangerous for both mom and baby to do this any longer. 
At 9:02 am a beautiful little girl was delivered via C-Section. She weighed just 1lb 6oz and was 12" in length. Our hope is to update you all along the way of Jordyn's journey.
