Jordan Guffan

Jordan was born with Marfan’s Syndrome which is a disorder of the connective tissue. It makes everything more stretchy and the aorta is often affected. Jordan found out this year his aortic root had reached the size where he would need surgery. After discussing surgery with his cardiologist we were referred to the mayo hospital in Rochester MN.  The surgeons coordinator called to discuss surgery and stated Jordan would have a valve-sparing aortic root replacement and aortic arch replacement. Surgery was scheduled for December 20th with Dr. Alberto Pochettino.
