Jordan was born October 21, 2017 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He weighed 3 pounds 5 ounces, and was 16 inches long.
On this day I was 29 weeks and 2 days pregnant and had been on bed rest for a week and a half. I woke up not feeling right, and called our doctor to see what we should do. He was on call at the hospital and had us come in to be monitored. After giving me different things to stop labor, it was eventually determined nothing was working and we were having this baby!
We are so fortunate to have been as far along as we were. I had received lung steroids a week prior in case of preterm birth, and felt comforted knowing he would get the best care possible in the NICU.
We made some tough decisions, and remained brave for the well being of our third son.
Follow Jordan's journey as we navigate this new path we have been placed upon. As always, thank you for the love and support.
The NICU is a busy place with doctors and nurses doing what's best for babies. It is also quiet and calm. If you plan on visiting, we appreciate a text ahead so that we can make sure it's a convenient time for you to visit. Thank you in advance.
