After complicated neck surgery in the fall of 2020, Jon was still experiencing health challenges several months later. In the spring of 2021, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and Parkinson's Disease.

Jon has urothelial carcinoma which does not appear to have penetrated into the muscle. He has had surgeries to remove the tumor and will be undergoing a few localized chemotherapy treatments. This type of cancer has an excellent prognosis and we hope for a full recovery with limited complications.
