On Tuesday night, 1/22/2019 Jon and his employee David were clearing driveways in St. Louis Park, for Jon's business.  At around 5:30 pm when they were crossing a residential road, on foot, to get back to Jon's truck, they were both struck by a car. We have no information about the driver of the car at this time except that the driver called 911. Jon was active at the accident scene and was taken by ambulance to HCMC along with David. Jon is in the intensive care unit and the length of his recovery time is unknown at this point. Jon suffered multiple fractures through out his body including his skull, face, knee, and forearm. His employee David suffered some facial trauma with a concussion and has since been released. The doctors are currently monitoring his cranial pressure and oxygen to his brain. He is also participating in a clinical trial involving "dives' in a hyperbaric chamber to theoretically aid in his brain's healing process.  We have family with Jon 24 hours a day and will be updating this site daily. If you would like to visit  Jon at HCMC, please contact a family member first. Donations to CareBridge go directly to this site. If you would like to donate to Jon enter ways to help and we will be making a go fund me page.
